Inking practice and gesture drawings! Sorry for the long silence, I HAVE been drawing, just... not posting very much of it. It feels like I haven't finished anything in a long time...

People-watching!

A couple of super-quick sketches of people who were milling around the zine fair the other day. So many neat outfits and hairdos, it felt like I was in the middle of some kind of indie fashion show sometimes. I find myself doing more of these quick people-watching doodles these days, and getting a half-decent sketch done before the subject realizes they're being drawn is a fun challenge. Does that make me a creeper?

PS: There was not actually a mime there. I know, I'm sorry. He had a stripey shirt though, and that was really all the justification I needed to turn him into a mime.
